Abstract
High school students¡¯ response characteristics were explored based on their school life adaptation (SLA) levels, and the use of LMT as a screening tool to measure school life maladjustment (SLM) was examined. 218 first-year students were recruited from two high schools in Kyonggi Province (K, n=134; K¡¯s Industrial, n=84). Students were first categorize into high-risk (lower 15%) and low-risk (upper 15%) groups based on SLA and SLM levels. Chi square test results indicated that integration had a significant effect on the composition index. The degree and reality of coloring, and numbers and stability of colors had a significant effect on the coloring index. The crops, road color, and symbolized flower had a significant effect on the component index. Results supported the potential value of LMT as a SLA measure and its potential utility as a diagnostic tool for early identification and intervention concerning high school students¡¯ maladaptation risk.
